Reviews
Really wonderful neighbourhood restaurant serving delicious Nepalese food. We had Thali, noodles and momos and all were really fresh and delicious. It's a little bit rough around the edges but that just adds to the charm. Staff are really lovely and we had a big feed for £20 each. Mega.
Had a good introduction to Nepalese food. Thali was wonderful and the Momo’s we had were superb. Slightly disappointed in the chow mein of their Combo.
Very busy and loud at around 10pm on a weekend. Would not say it’s my type of ambiance.
But overall, lovely food with lovely staff.
Nice tiny little place tucked away in the corner of Dalston. Great variety of options - both veg and non veg. Very authentic Nepali taste with polite servers. 100% recommend!
Adorable little restaurant in Dalston. The menu is very small, which means everything is done perfectly. You order and pay at the counter, so don't expect restaurant service, but the food is not expensive, delicious and plenty. Everyone working there was lovely as well. Will definitely go back to have the Momo.
The place is quite small and doesn't have booking, so be aware there might be some waiting in busy times.
Busy little momo restaurant!!
We came as a group of 4 people at 7pm and had to wait for a table around 30-45 minutes since the restaurant was packed.
We ordered beef fried momos, vegetarian momos in curry sauce, the curry dhal combo and the chicken chow mein. Everything was delicious!! The fried momos were nice and crunchy, and the chow mein was such a large portion.
After we dined, the staff politely asked us to leave as there was a line out the door. However, the staff were friendly and attentive.
Highly recommend as a cheap and casual eat with friends.
Context :
Alright its 21:16 and I just ordered from deliveroo with a friend who I havent seen in a while.
Delivery/Deliveroo :
Deliveroo managed to order it to the entiree wrong address even with the pin placed, so this is nothing todo with the restaurant but we left and met them to delay issues as we could see this in advance.
Mains / Restaurant :
Could restaurant staff please explain why the order was ice cold? This is simply not acceptable as Ive seen other complaints for food poisoning. You have to and must consider children may be eating this food and mine were.
I dont think you guys will see me again for a second chance.
Its far too risky.
Please note : Deliveroo didnt refund us for the full £40 order neither, what a terrible start to my week. As I will also need to secure more food as it was never cooked in the first place.
Portions are huge - we ended up taking food home! Thali and dumplings were yummy - food had a little spicy kick which I enjoyed but was too much for my kids. Would definitely go again!
House of Momos serves some of the best Nepalese 🇳🇵food in London. This gem if a cafe is hidden just off the High streets of Dalston. The menu maybe small but what it focuses on providing is its popular momos and Thali with few noodle dishes …
